Fujifilm X-T4 + XF 16mm f1.4 and XF 23mm f1.4 Urban Portrait Photography
For this shoot I used the Fujifilm X-T4 paired with two of my favorite prime lenses: the Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR and XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR.
The X-T4 is one of Fujifilm’s most popular interchangeable lens mirrorless cameras known for its 26.1MP APS-C sensor, in-body image stabilization and classic film simulations. It delivers sharp, vibrant images while staying compact enough for travel and street photography.
The XF 16mm f/1.4 is an ultra-sharp wide-angle lens (24mm full-frame equivalent) perfect for landscapes, environmental portraits, and capturing expansive scenes with depth. Its fast f/1.4 aperture is great for low light and beautiful subject separation.
The XF 23mm f/1.4 offers a more natural field of view (35mm full-frame equivalent), making it ideal for documentary-style shots, street photography and intimate portraits. It’s one of Fujifilm’s sharpest and most versatile primes.
Check out the gear I used:
Fujifilm X-T4 now replaced by the Fujifilm X-T5
XF 23mm f/1.4 has been replaced by the newer XF 23mm f1.4 R LM WR
